The 80/20 rule universally, means that the 80% of wealth of the country is concentrated in the hands of 20% of the population; well this is a universally accepted ratio. And this ratio even stands true in the search engine marketing. There was misconception that you just have to make the software and install it and all the marketing work related to it will be done by the software. But this has changed to a great extent, everyone has realized that such thing can cause great damage and such things do create damage to a great extent.

The marketing work can’t be done without human involvement, the presence of human beings is very much necessary. They need to be continuously in contact with the people, exchange thoughts, and communicate with them only makes it possible. You need to take initiative to communicate with them and build up a relationship. You even have to make them trust you and take all efforts to keep up that trust.

The 80/20 rule in social media marketing means the 20% of your work will be done by the software and the rest 80% has to be done by human efforts. The 20% software involvement means the gathering and analysis of the data and giving you the figures that you need to carry out and target your human interactions. It also helps you as a communication tool.

The human-involvement side of search engine marketing involves:

Generation of targeted content.

Creating Lots of link bait content.

Keyword targeting.

Search engine optimisation.

PPC advertising.

Online events.

Social media marketing.

Blogging.

This is where the most of your marketing works goes and this is the work which actually plays a major role in strengthening your marketing reputation.

Keyword density do you this is necessary for your Search engine optimization? Many search engine optimizers think that this is very much important and some think it’s not that necessary. The keyword density today I am talking about is regarding the number of keywords in your website content. The question is how much keyword do you use in content maybe 5 % and does that help you in getting appropriate traffic and how it helps you to increase your ranking?

It is a very controversial or in other words a debatable topic to be discussed. The reason for this is many people have different opinion but according to me keywords doesn’t increase your search engine ranking it’s just one of those factors that help them to increase the ranking. The other factors along with the keywords play a major role in increasing your search engine ranking.

With search engine now a day’s giving more and more importance to the content the importance of keywords in Search engine optimization has reduced to a great extent. This involves optimizing people for what they want and not what they are looking for. For example if you type in your search engine the word web designing the more things which comes is web designing tutorials but many people use this word to search the web designing companies this is where the problem arises.

But avoiding keywords completely is foolishness we can use use 3 to 4 keywords in a particular content. But using a particular keyword three to four time in a sentence is completely dumb thing which a person can do. Is\n simple words don’t make it too less and too much to digest.

All ways take care that you must have keywords in your anchor text and secondly the keywords should be there in your important tags such as <h1>, <strong> and <li>.

This is important thing as generally the search engines first look at these tags and if the keyword appears over there then the search engine tracks it and then your search engine ranking increases.

Social media marketing and search engine optimization has now become very much inter related as Search engine optimization is dependant nowadays on social media marketing. Social media marketing has nowadays becoming very popular because of developing social networking sites like Facebook, Orkut, LinkedIn, MySpace etc.

The popularity of such sites are reaching sky heights day by day among this Facebook is considered to be the top of every other sites with over 500 million users in the planet. The popularity of these sites has led to the popularity of the Social media marketing.

The people who don’t know the meaning of social media marketing it means encouraging web surfers to recommend your link to their friends by using the above mentioned websites.

It is one of the fastest ways to increase the visitors to your website as you can target thousands and lakhs of people by just posting a single link of your website, the link sharing social networking sites thus plays a major role in increasing the number of visitors of your website.

They not only improve your website traffic but also search engine rankings in major search engines. Because most search engine ranking algorithms attach greater relevance to websites that are linked to by other websites.

Different Search engine optimizers use different techniques to approach social media marketing but I think the most important things u must encompass are as follows:

Great content: This is one of the most important thing people are looking for while they go the links which you have posted. If you have posted good content links then that will surely make them visit the links. Use attractive headlines and sub headings they will be ma to visit your website again and again.

Networking and Communication: Since it is a social media you cannot expect to be in isolation every time. You have to be in continuous connection with the people in the networking sites and you must share your links and must even visit to the links or messages given by them thus increasing your popularity in the social networking sites.

I personally think social media marketing practice is just like the old wine in the new bottle because online advertising is not a new trend it’s a bit older practice but using the Social networking sites as a medium is one of the amendments done to it.

Web page length is different from web page size. The size of a website is something what how long it appears on the screen it can be very big or sometime very small. The size can be increased by the java coding which you do or by adding some big pictures or graphs or some other flash works. The length which I was trying to mean is the content inside the website for reading. If the content is too long that is more than 600 words then the website is lengthy but if it is small then the length is less.

Thus the length of the Facebook determines the amount of content in it. The length doesn’t determine the reading value or the news value of it. The bigger the news more informative not always necessary, according to me the content should not be more than 300 words. The length can be compromised but not the quality of the content. The Search engine optimizers try to focus on the fact that the lengthy content should be used because more keywords can be added. The density of keywords according to me in the whole content shouldn’t be more than 3 to 4% in total.

Just to be on the safer side you can increase you length to upto400 words with at least one heading and one subheading. Then you can give a couple of links to your keywords using that as your anchor text. Then your search engine optimization work will also not be interrupted and then the optimizers can focus on various other things just to increase your search engine ranking.

The need for heavier content can’t be overlooked as more the content more keywords can be used and more bullet points along with 3 to 4 headings at a page can be used. This will surely gather more traffic to you site because you can give more links to your anchor text. But always make sure that you can increase the length but never compromise with the quality, because a good content will always bring more customers to your site. This will even full fill the actual need of a website i.e. providing information.

The blog is one of the things which people follow you on regular basis. The readers may follow you for days, weeks, months, well it is very necessary to see that we have to keep or readers updated with unique content and information. But many times it happens that the writers fail to keep up their reader’s expectations and tend to lose them soon.

There are many reasons why people unsubscribe from your blogs but I would like to highlight some of the basic things which are as follows —

Too many posts: One of the major reason for the unsubscribing is too many postings by the writer, the continuous postings makes an assumption in the peoples mind that the writer has no other work to do. The writer should not upload more than 3 to 4 blogs a day. It should also be small snippets if you are uploading 3 to 4 posts day. The sizes are too big of each post then reduce the number of articles to 2 per day. If got a chance to select between a 4 page story and a one pager always go for the one page article.

Very few posts: The concept of very post does not exactly mean that very less posting or irregularity in postings. The readers may follow you even if you post once in a week or even a month if your content is good. So the readers may unsubscribe you if your content is poor and over that you post once in a blue moon.

Nothing unique: if you just rewrite what you have read in other blogs and sites with some opinion of yours then that’s never going to attract the readers so always try to get something new.

Lack of focus: the writer should continuously write about a single subject and all the topics related to it. If he is talking about science then he can talk about science specifically everyday on different topics related to it, but if it is like one day he will write about science, next day history and then about astrology then that doesn’t create continuity among the readers. They can get confused about and cannot find a specific content which they are looking for.

No comments: Blogs are the place where people give their thoughts on different subjects and other people react to your thinking. It is a medium of communication and that to not a one way communication. So if you have not kept the option of commenting on your post on then it means it like blowing your own trumpet. So always allow comments to be allowed to your account.

These I think are one of the major reasons why readers don’t get connected with your blog for a longer period. So avoid such mistakes before and after creating your blog.

Interlinking is very important part it decides how you link your different pages under your main domain. This is very important as it is one of the key reasons for bringing up lots of traffic. The links which come under this are mainly of four types:

Navigation links

Breadcrumb links

Subject area links and

Individual page links

This entire links play a major role in increasing the quantity i.e. the density of the keywords which will ultimately result in increasing the traffic in your website.

Navigation Links:

Many people follow the habit of using pictures for creating interlinking but this can be replaced by adding alt attribute to your images. But by using navigational links you can create a lot of density in the keywords by using appropriate Anchor Text. In your navigation if you want to link to Search engine optimization page by using the anchor text search engine it will be better than just using an alt attribute to your images.

Breadcrumb links:

This links are the one which appear on the top of the pages which provide interlinks and sub links to different pages. For example in the website netZtrack .com under the link products we have links naming search engine optimization, social media marketing, pay per click management, and website designing. This in this way includes lot of keywords which help in creating the traffic for the site.

Subject area links:

Content websites having different texts has got lot of subject which they can use as there anchor text. This is most useful in terms of websites which have a lot of subjects or in other words a lot of content to read.

Individual Page links:

This are most important links in interlinking from the point of view of getting a lot of traffic and getting in top of search engine results. This is because they directly link to your main pages. This can be your home page that is referred from an inner page or some less important page which is inked but which has a lot of keyword content helping to come in top of SERPs.

The interlinking thus plays a very important role as the search engine spiders evaluate your website, according to keywords and phrases you use in your anchor text.

Search engine optimization is nowadays one of the major practices done by website companies to help there site to be listed top in SERPs and gain lot of traffic. The wrong SEO strategies applied by the companies may take their sites down at the end and coming back to the track may consume lot of time. This is some of the most common mistakes made by people while creating a search engine optimization.

Not having a different title for different pages:

This is one of the biggest blunders done by many search engines optimizers. Even big companies commit these kinds of mistakes. It is very important to avoid doing such mistakes because there is no meaning in giving the same title to each of your page, rather you must understand the title is one of the most important part where you can use the keywords to make the visitors know about your page. So every page with different content must have a unique title.

Having confusing and complex linking navigation systems:

If you are using java script, image maps or flash player to create your navigation then don’t even dream about getting listed by the search engine. The navigation are the things which is used by the search engine when they come crawling. They act like a site map for them. SO even if you have thousands of sites and it cannot be detected by the search engine then it is nothing less than useless.

Not targeting the right keywords:

Lot of business man spends lakhs of rupees on the Search engine optimization but fails in getting an output out of it, so the mistake which they tend to do is they don’t attract right customers because of wrong selection of keywords. This is very important selection of appropriate keywords is the bas while selecting an SEO strategy.

Not using keywords in anchor text:

The people have the habit of giving lings with an anchor text click here to know more, it should be avoided rather it should be placed bya keyword like to know more go to Search Engine Optimization. This will help in increasing the density of your keyword and create proper internal links.

The bogs nowadays have become as good as a website. They have got the facility of clear navigation and have the feature of perfect interlinking.

If you have not submitted our blog directories then you are missing a large amount of traffic for sure. It is very important to submit your blogs into good directories but before that you have to follow some of the key steps or things while preparing a blog:

Adding Keywords:

Adding keywords is one of the important things to be kept in mind while writing a blog. You can target a particular word while writing the blog but keep in mind such things may not help you get top listed in search engines. You can go even for a lucrative keyword which means it is not a popular word or term. They may not get you the most traffic but often get you enormous profit.

More Web site traffic and more sales, not all ways possible!!!

It is not always necessary to have a co-relation between the website traffic with sales. It may act opposite to each other. The people who use lucrative keywords are very much successful in getting there little traffic into customers.

Length of Search Query is a Factor

The highest conversion rates from search engine traffic come from people who do four word queries. The great thing about your blog is that it can get so well-indexed that you have the potential to show up for any number of four word phrases that are relevant to your industry.

Blogs should be sales and traffic oriented:

It is not said that only four word phrases will get traffic but also 2 word and three word phrases will get traffic. These phrases even generate lots of keywords and traffic. There will be no problem to find such words, if you know the best way of finding it.

So shortage of finding such words is not a problem if you learn how to discover them.

In this way this are some of the basic guidelines which should be followed while making blog.

Every Search Engine Optimization begins with a well-developed keyword research analysis. A wrongly selected keyword for your search engine optimization will take you to wrong results and in order to get back in the right track it takes months. So it is very important to follow the right keyword right from the beginning.

There are many tools available in internet which will give you keywords, but it will not be the perfect thing which you are looking for it will just be an approximate idea of what u actually need. If you don’t take search engine optimization seriously then you can use the free tools available in internet, but if you take the search engine optimization seriously then use the complete versions tools or otherwise hire experts for doing this job.

These are some of the simple guidelines which can be used while selecting the keyword:

Target long tail keywords:

It is one of the latest and most important changes found and practised while selecting keywords. The practices of just using a single word as your keyword gets you results but it is a long term and a difficult process. So instead of targeting a single word you must select a whole bunch of words. For e.g. if you keyword is ‘social media marketing’ then make your keyword as ‘social media marketing in Facebook’ or else ‘social media marketing in YouTube ‘. It is good as coming in top list in search engine for the keyword social media marketing is difficult but it is easy to come on top for the keyword social media marketing in YouTube or Facebook.

Create different pages for different keywords:

It will very difficult even for the search engine optimizer expert to put all 10 keywords in your website. If you are even able to do so your site will be poor in terms of content and Google may find this out. So in order to make it easy, use only a maximum of three keywords in a page, this will even send a message to Google that your website is good even in terms of content. So always keep in mind to use different pages for different keywords.

Do country specific research:

Select the keywords on the basis of the target audience or the country which you are targeting. For example if you are selling a sports product, same games are refereed differently in different countries. For e.g. soccer is called in South American countries and it is known as football in European nations. So we have to be wise while selecting keywords which have different meanings at different places. So make sure that word which are selecting is suitable for the country which you are targeting.

Don’t stick to a set of keywords:

Even if you have reached the first position in search engines by focusing on some sort of keywords just don’t stick to the same. Because by changing trends the customer’s needs and demands even changes. So change your keywords according to the changing scenario. Keep reworking on your keywords and contents

It is just a basic step which should be kept in mind while creating a website. These things may help you to find much appropriate keywords. You have to take more efforts than this but should follow all these things to bring your website on top of the chart.
