Search Engine Optimization is not a one day job or a month job. It might days or some time a long period to get your website on top for certain Keywords and the most difficult part out of all this is to maintain your position on top for a good period of time. Well as you know it is not a one day task, I think the first and the prior aim of every Search Engine Optimizer should be to follow the basic principles of the SEO, I have selected 5 things which every Search Engine Optimizer must follow:

The content: You must make sure that you’re Website or Blog has got an excellent content and it is not copied from anywhere. This is very important that the content should be written in proper English and should be grammatically correct as the Search Engines check the content and on the basis of that they set page ranking for your website.

External and Internal Linking: The most important thing is to link the content on proper Keywords either within your website or link the content to your blog site or main page.

Link Distribution: The more you share your link the higher the Search Engine will recognize your Website and this way your website will rank first in the Search engine results.

Updating: Your website should be updated continuously and there should be fresh and new content at least twice in a week so that the search engine receive continuous updates about your content.

Use different titles and meta tags – When creating new pages for your blog or website you should be creating new titles and using different keywords otherwise search engines may class your content as spam and you’ll not be ranked too well.

As i have been writing for quite a while, i realized types of articles that can be written on a blog. So i searched on internet to see if i could find some more types and surprisingly i came across Darren’s post that was written way back in 2005.

It’s very well written considering he found out 20 different types of articles that can be written.

You can read the entire list with explanation here: 20 Types of Blog Posts – Battling Bloggers Block

However, i would want to add one more type that i had in mind and it’s News

It’s when you write about an upcoming event and add videos and photos of previous events or write about a heated topic that is currently trending on internet. Many bloggers write about an updates made on widely used CMS and their plugin which increase their websites potential of getting organic traffic whenever the searches are made.

It might go under Darren’s Informational type of posts from his point of view of course.

This type of blog posts can be good as content on your website to get organic traffic.

Striving to Stay Relevant in the World of SEO

Posted by admin | SEO Reseller | Thursday 4 November 2010 9:05 am

I’ve been stressing out the past few days racking my brains for my perfect first entry here on Netztrack. I was thinking of posting some philosophical piece about SEO, or a short but very informative piece on the basics of SEO, or even a plain introduction of myself. Anyway I ended up deciding to go for a very simple first post that will give you all a glimpse of what to expect.

One of the problems that SEO blogs face is that you can find resources on the basics of SEO scattered all over the net. SEO bloggers, needing a regular output, have taken to rehashing old topics. If you practice SEO though you know how online trends evolve very rapidly and how search engines adapt continuously to improve results, combat spam, and keep in pace with the ever changing user habits and preferences. What this means for SEOs is that we cannot rely on just the basics to make sure that our own sites and those of our clients remain competitive. Knowledge of the basics is critical but keeping ourselves updated about the latest developments and news on the major search engines (not just the almighty Google) as well as new methods/techniques in SEO is just as critical.

So what this means for Netztrack is that while Bibin and I will continue to give short tutorials/reminders on the basics of SEO we will also strive to keep you updated on search engine news, the latest SEO trends, conference news, and the occasional philosophical piece on what it means to be an SEO. I will also be posting links to interesting/notable blogs posts tackling SEO and/or web design on a regular basis. So if you have an SEO blog do leave a comment so I can subscribe to your blog and hopefully be able to learn something new from you as you learn something new from my posts.

I’m really excited for what this year has to hold for Netztrack. I’m sure I’ll enjoy posting here and interacting with everyone. Cheers!

SEO Friendly Web Content Writing Benefit

Posted by admin | SEO Reseller | Wednesday 20 October 2010 7:32 am

If you are a person who searches for article marketing tips on a regular basis, then you must have heard about the change where the search engines are changing their keyword relevancy algorithm to a term named as latent sematic indexing or better known as netZtrack. So how is this going to affect your articles? The effect is that, your attempts of filling the article with many keywords, as many as possible, to increase the visits and improve your ranking is not going to help you in any manner.

Let hope that this change will help in eradicating articles filled with non-sense from the top of the page list ranks and putting there something more sensible and useful in its place. This requires the writers to change the content and style of writing to ensure the visibility in the engines.

Apart from the disadvantage of having to improve the content by applying additional thought to the topic, the advantages of the style in which the content are constructed are many. The latent semantic indexing is nothing more than a mere fancy title which describes the total number of terms which are related to the topic used in a combination with each other on any given page. This is to mean that, if you happen to type in a word for search, the engine searches about the topics which are directly and indirectly connected to it. For example, If I type in the word investment, it will go in search of shares, gold, land etc. and many other terms which may in any related to the topic.

The various related topics produced are termed as “Expert verbiage”. All of this might seem like a technical jargon, but it really isn’t anything too technical and it is all about simplicity and being natural. In fact every one of us includes expert verbiage in or day to day conversations during subjects that maybe knowledgeable.

The advantages of constructing the content of your article according to the netZtrack, not only helps in you in increasing the rankings in the search engine page results, but it also proves to be beneficial to the reader and helps in commanding the authority of your articles.

Articles content is ranked on three main bases. One- the information provided by the content must be useful and informative to the reader, Two- The content should be of high quality and unique in nature, Three- Usage of expert verbiage, so that the engine can search accordingly, as it is themed.

A content which is written according to the netZtrack’s standards must sound natural and human so as to assist both the bots present in the engine and the reader of the content. It’s about expressing the integrity of the article and the sincerity in providing the appropriate information rather than a mere ranking motive. It is similar to building a relationship with the reader in assisting them in the right manner without mocking their intelligence and wasting their time by ensuring the integrity of the content. Ensuring such standards will guarantee a visibility in searches of the content. As promotion of top quality content is what is required now.
